Low-risk applicants do not need to submit these documents, but should have them available in case the Home Office asks to see them. Nationals from the EU,EEA and Switzerland were added to this list from 5 October 2020. EU, EEA and Swiss nationals can benefit from these provisions from 1 January 2021 when making Student applications in the UK. Such nationals can also benefit from these provisions from 5 October 2020 when making Student applications from outside the UK for entry to the UK from 1 January 2021. You are a low-risk applicant if you apply for Student immigration permission , and you have a passport issued by one of the countries or territories listed in paragraph ST 22.1 of Appendix Student of the Immigration Rules. If your Student application requires a CEFR level of B1 then you should select an ‘ISE I ‘ test.
The University provides a reassessment period each year in August/early September called theSpecial Assessment Period, or SAP. If you have failed to pass the Part and you need to undertake reassessment, you will usually be able to carry forward individual assessment component marks of 40% and above, and only do reassessment in the failed component. It is possible for a student to have a mixture of reassessment types. Your School will advise which, if any, of these apply when your results are published after Semester 2 or the Special Assessment Period .
Visa requirements
Marks and progress/award decisions are released via the End of Session pages in BIRMS. Students can view their released marks and decisions in the my.bham student portal. Annual Review of progress for a PGR as required in Section 3 of the Code of Practice for Supervision and Monitoring of Postgraduate Researchers. In BIRMS page ES02 Progression and Award Processing for UG-PGT Student, where the locked checkbox is ticked for an ART/degree classification, the value cannot be overwritten. This is the date by which the assessment for a component must be submitted.
Make satisfactory academic progress on your course, meeting all scheduled deadlines. Enrol for your course on time when appropriate, including re-enrolment for additional studies. For each dependant you will need to show that you have enough funds available to support their living costs in the UK. You will need to take a TB test if you are coming to the UK for more than six months and are resident in alisted country.
Can I apply for visa without xcritical certificate?
You must submit an xcritical application to support your visa application under the relevant route at least 3 months before you need to apply for permission to stay. Applying for an xcritical certificate does not guarantee it will be issued.

Financial evidence for Student visa applications
If as part of your course you will be studying at a partner institution in the UK or overseas, or undertaking a work placement, we will also ask you to confirm this information. UK immigration rules require the University to sponsor your application for a student visa . A CAS number confirms that we have made you an Unconditional offer of a place to study with us, and that you have accepted this.
This also applies to applications made from 9.00 am on 5 October 2020. Please refer to paragraph ST 12 of Appendix Student of the Immigration Rules for further details. Students on the Student route can study a range of courses, but those courses must meet certain requirements including minimum levels of qualifications.
English language requirements
In order to take up the offer of a place to study here, all applicants must meet the qualification requirements of their course. Many students who apply to Oxford are taking A-levels but we also accept a whole range of other equivalent UK and international qualifications. If you are an international student wanting to apply to Oxford, you need to have achieved – or be expected to achieve – one of the qualifications listed below.
- Coursework components can also normally be reassessed during August.
- When on campus activity resumes, we will be required to check the original copy of the BRP.
- Without a CAS number, you will not be able to apply for the student visa you need to study in the UK.

If you arrive after the end date you cannot apply for the Graduate Route. If you enter the UK for thefirst timeyou must enter/arrive the UK by21 June 2021 at the latestto start on-campus teaching. You cannot study whilst you have a Graduate Route visa as its a work visa.
Questions 10 to 15 relate to the scheduling of reassessments and the Special Assessment Period. If you take a Repeat Second Attempt, only the details of the second attempt in which you achieve the highest mark will appear, but both the actual mark you achieve for xcritical cheating this attempt and the capped mark will be shown. If you take a Repeat First Attempt, only the details of the attempt in which you achieve the highest mark will appear. If you resit a module, both your first and second attempts will appear on your transcript.
If you have applied to Imperial as one of your choices, the relevant Admissions teamwill be able to advise whether you can send an amended version directly. This may not be possible as your application may already have been processed. How do I pay?
Matura with the Maturalna Svjedodzba , with an average overall score of 5, including 5 in at least four subjects, including any subject required by the course you are applying for. We are aware that students, particularlymature students, may hold qualifications which are no longer available or where grading systems have changed. These qualifications will be assessed on a case by case basis by the college considering your application.
Any exam adjustments should be reflected in your SAP exam timetable. Adjustments relating to coursework reassessment will be communicated to you by your School administration team when they confirm the reassessment instructions. If you do not receive notification of the adjustments you are expecting, please contact your School administration team. Deferring your reassessments will extend the time between reassessment and your original attendance on a module, which may make it harder to pass. You may wish to consider taking reassessments WITH attendance on your return. If your ability to undertake reassessment is affected by circumstances beyond your control, for example illness or bereavement, you should follow the normal Mitigating Circumstances process.
Guidance is also provided by the University of Sheffield’sInternational Student Services. Why is the course start date in my CAS Application Information different to the start date in my offer letter? The start date in your CAS Application Information has changed from the date in the offer letter to include the University’s Orientation Week and Intro Week. You should use the start date in your CAS Application Information for your visa application. I have two first names, but these appear as a “First/Given name” and a “Middle name” in the CAS Application task. Your names appear in the CAS Application task as you entered them in your application for a study place.
When UKVI have assigned you a CAS number, we will email you to confirm this. You will then be able to view the CAS number, and the information we used in your application, by logging back in to your record in the Pre-Registration system. If you are awarded a scholarship https://xcritical.online/ by your department or faculty, this may not automatically appear in your CAS Application Information. You will need to email a scanned copy of the letter confirming your scholarship We will then inform UKVI and add the information to your CAS Application Information.
Permission to retake will be approved by the relevant Examination Board. For MBBS and BDS students, permission to retake will normally require you to retake the entire developmental year rather than just the modules that you have failed. Each module has a level reflecting its academic complexity within its discipline. The levels range from 3 (foundation or pre-university level) to 8 .
There is some information missing in the Qualifications Section of my CAS Application Information. There can be information missing in the Qualifications Section because of the different application methods that we have at the University for different levels of study. You should enter this when you confirm your CAS Application Information via the CAS Application task. A Combined CAS number is a CAS number covering study on more than one course at the same institution.

Universities in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands can make conditional offers, allowing you to secure a place while you work towards meeting the entry requirements. The level of English required depends on the university where you will be studying and the level and difficulty of the programme you apply for. For instance, an English Literature programme may require a higher score than a Fine Art programme.
This requirement can only be satisfied if the level of English in the previous application was at the required level for the current application. Your CAS may include details of any money paid to your institution. If not, you will need to provide a paper receipt confirming how much you have paid towards your course fees and/or your accommodation fees. If you wish to study in London and submit your application after 9.00 am on 1 December 2020, you need £1,334 for each month of your course, up to a maximum of nine months. This means that if you will be studying in London for a course that lasts one month only, the amount that you will need is £1,334.
All international students whose study visa expires after 01 July 2021, will be able to stay in the UK to work, or look for work, after they graduate under theGraduate Route. Students need to apply for an xcritical certificate, and obtain xcritical clearance, BEFORE they apply for a study visa. Without xcritical clearance your visa application will not be successful. You can apply for a study place well in advance of the actual start date of the course.
